“Of all the journeys, the most beautiful one is the one inwards…”
I’ve been a seeker for most of my life.
During these last transformative years, intuitive writing and deep journaling have brought me closer to myself and into a much more profound sense of wholeness. I’ve learned that, in fact, I can only be my own coach, my own therapist, my own healer. And while I think it can be very nourishing to connect with others, I’ve found a profound gift in the time spent alone in introspection and allowing.
The ocean has long been my most reliable source of inspiration — a place where I can breathe freely and my deepest insights arise. On a beautiful summer day a few years ago, beneath the breath of the endless blue, the name “The Ocean Whispers…” came to me. And just as this name slowly unfolded into my awareness, I noticed that the red ribbon bookmark in my journal was unexpectedly resting between the very pages where I first wrote about these three words that I perceive as a gift from the sea — like the famous red thread guiding the way.
This little corner of the world wide web is thought as a sacred sanctuary for the unfolding of who you are and who you’re becoming. My hope is that it will be a soft place where your heart can rest. Something like a warm and welcoming enclave where you can take off your shoes, breathe a little deeper, and hopefully feel a little more understood.
The idea of creating a space to share was on my mind for quite a while, like a distant future dream, but I never really knew how and where to start. I often tried to explain others what brought, and is still bringing, so much magic, understanding and healing into my life. Yet, when they ask me, “But… what exactly are you doing?”, I usually still stumble. I guess it is because what I’m doing lives in the realm of the soul, and the soul doesn’t speak in definitions.
I write for those of us who chose to follow the signpost on life’s trail that says: “This is a slow and peaceful road”… I see myself as a fellow traveler, a loving companion. I’m grateful if our paths cross here and if we end up feeling a little more touched, a little more wise and a little more whole afterwards.
I invite you to take your journal and to explore the gentle writing invitations in this sanctuary. Move forward at your own pace, with childlike curiosity and a heart wide open. Gift yourself some time to surrender to that voice deep within, the one that has always known the way.
May something here remind you of your own light.
May you feel less alone with the questions and struggles that keep you up at night.
And may you remember that your life story is unique and matters. It is worth exploring and worth being told, even if only to your own self for now.
